Separated when I-40 was constructed more than 40 years ago, the North Nashville and West End area communities desired improved connectivity to boost the economic vitality of the area. This roadway and bridge across the CSX railroad between West End Avenue and I-40 along 28th Avenue and 31st Avenue improves connectively for years to come.
Bordering our ONEC1TY community, the long-awaited Connector opened to the public on October 2, 2012 and is one of Nashville’s first “complete streets,” serving as a model for efficient and sustainable transportation design.
